  • The number of members is growing (+25% in the last 4 years).
  • About 38% of the member are under 18.

Alpinism, trecking, climbing, snow racket, skiing, canyoning : All sports related to mountain and climbing are managed together by the same Federation.

In Montauban, from the 4th to 6th July 2008, climbing will be under the spotlights.

Climbing generation

Main sport of the FFME, climbing is the reason why most of the new members are signing in a club. Then they can try all other mountain sports.

With international class champions, modern infrastructures and innovative learning contents, the FFME works each year with local committees to organize national and international events.
